As we head out the door for our Christmas break, we wanted to take a moment to reflect back on the year that was and what we have to look forward to when we return in the new year. We have had the most amazing year, full of fun, challenges, new opportunities and more. Here’s a few highlights from our team to yours! None of this could have happened without our dedicated committee, volunteers, and of course, everyone who supported these events and projects by attending, planting trees, putting up fences, and lending a hand when we needed it. Thank you so very much to each and every one of you! thank-you1 Despite a tighter than usual funding climate, in 2014, we were still able to do a great deal of our core business delivery. We also hosted a record number of workshops, events and tours. Our team presented at multiple events and conferences, and we had booths at several community events. And we were mentioned in the paper, radio or social media hundreds of times! Click here for a slide show of some of the happenings from the last 12 months! And we have Big Plans for 2015. Already on the cards we have: * Permaculture and Soil Workshops (January 10th) * Property Planning Workshop (February 15th) * Woolorama (March 6th and 7th) * Fox Shoot (March 20th and 21st) * Great Southern Sustainable Living Festival (March) * EcoWeek (September) * Bloom Festival (September-October) * Night Stalk (October) * Katanning Show (October) And of course, whatever else we can organise! All done while also developing our new and improved business plan and website! So, a lot has happened, and a lot more to come! Thanks for an incredible year, from the Friendly Landcare Team You can check out the complete wrap up, with all the details here at our MailChimp email archives
