It’s true! Katanning Landcare has taken over operations of the Blyth Tree Farm! All the details got finalised just before Christmas and a flurry of learning and planting has happened over the Christmas period! While many people were taking a break, our team of volunteers planted around 200,000 seedlings, with a good variety of popular melaleucas, callistemons, casuarinas, eucalypts, saltbush, and other lovely natives. The Katanning Landcare team are really excited about this new venture. We are eternally grateful for the help of Bev Lockley for leading the volunteers, Shah for staying on, and to Steve for getting us started. We are currently operating under the name “Katanning Environmental Nursery.” If you have any questions, or would like to place an order for the 2018 winter planting season, please contact the Katanning Landcare office to discuss your needs!
