Happy Holidays from your friends at Katanning Landcare!

It’s been a wonderful year for Katanning Landcare, and we couldn’t have done it without you, our dedicated land stewards – planting trees, fencing and protecting habitat, recycling, switching to reusable bags, volunteering, donating, and so many other things that make such a big impact.

We have had so many special events through the past year, worked on so many grants, and planted several thousand trees, all towards our goal of improving the environment in which we live.

And we have many other things to look forward to in the coming year, including:

• We are now entering the second year of our Katanning Environmental Nursery venture, and want to thank all that have already placed their orders for the 2019 planting season.
• We are excited to be working closely with the Shire of Katanning on the Piesse Park project, and with our new partners Badgebup Aboriginal Corporation, Moojepin Foods, Wagoga, Chatfields, and Wide Open Agriculture on the Bush Foods project.
• We will also be ramping up the QFH Multiparts Productive Landcare Demonstration again and can’t wait to share more of that great project with you.
• Our newly refreshed website (with seedling ordering features!!) will soon be launched. We thank the State NRM Office for their generous support over the last two years, which has made so many new and exciting ventures possible for us.

As we enter into the harvest and Christmas season once again, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to you and yours. We hope you make the most of the holiday season and have many great new things to look forward to in the coming new year.

Our office will close on Friday 21st December, reopening Monday 7th January. We hope to return fully rested and ready for an amazing 2019!
