Katanning Landcare invites you to attend our 33rd Annual General Meeting.

POSITIONS VACANT

Will will have 4 committee member positions vacant and we encourage new members to register their interest in joining in advance of the day by completing the attached member application form (DOWNLOAD HERE) and email completed form to hello@katanninglandcare.org.au.

The Katanning Land Conservation District Committee consists of 17 members, as gazetted by the Soil and Land Conservation Act (1945). We are looking for four community members to register under the ‘Land User’ category, who can attend meetings and help make decisions around governance of our environmental non-profit.

A ‘Land User’ is defined as: being persons actively engaged in, or affected by or associated with, land use, or representing organizations, or Government departments, instrumentalities or agencies actively engaged in, or affected by or associated with, land use, in the land conservation district. Land Users are equally welcome from both town and farming backgrounds.

Katanning Land Conservation District Committee meetings are held every second month (Feb, April, June, Aug, Sept (AGM), Nov) on the 1st Tuesday of the month, from 7:00pm. We review financials and receive operational updates from staff regarding our projects and community initiatives. If you have are interested in our environmental initiatives and projects, please consider joining our small team.
