We are so excited to announce our new Online Mapping Tool for Expressions of Interest (EOI)!

Thanks to Lotterywest Grants funding, which made this website possible, and through the expert assistance of Gaia Resources, we now have an online tool for our members to log in and map their proposed Landcare fencing and revegetation ideas.

And the timing couldn’t be better, with the State NRM Office announcing a grant round opening for the 2018 calendar year.

So, if you have a proposal for fencing or revegetation on your property, please submit your EOI using our Online Mapping Tool!

There are two basic steps:

  1. Register for a member account
  2. Complete a map and hit submit

How to Register as a Member:

  1. Go to katanninglandcare.org.au
  2. Click on REGISTER or go directly to katanninglandcare.org.au/register/
  3. Complete the details in the Create an Account form
  4. You will receive a confirmation email. Click on the link to complete the registration process.

All done! Now let’s log in and do some mapping!

How to Log In and Get Mapping:

  1. Go to katanninglandcare.org.au
  2. Click on SIGN IN
  3. Enter your username and password details
  4. If not automatically directed there, select MEMBERS RESOURCES from the top menu
  5. Select “Mapping” from the list of options
  6. Choose the type of mapping that suits your needs best – fencing or revegetation
  7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Scroll to your property, zoom in, and click away at where you would like your fence or revegetation. Single-click to change direction, double-click to end the drawing.
You can draw multiple fences or multiple revegetation plots in the one window.
  8. Once your mapping is finished, complete the details in the form below the map, and hit SUBMIT. This is where you get to tell us more about the site, what you want to do there, where existing projects might be, and so on.

When the form is submitted, someone from Katanning Landcare will be in touch with you to discuss your EOI in a bit more detail, and arrange a site visit.

Of course, it’s important to remember that no funding is ever guaranteed, but you have to be ‘in it to win it’ so submitting your ideas now will help us be ready when funding opportunities arise. It’ll all be on file and ready to go!

Also, once you hit submit, your mapping disappears and will only be stored on the Katanning Landcare server for internal purposes. If you wish to change your EOI, you will need to re-map and re-submit.
